Spring campground is a 68-site campground located right on Crescent
Lake, about 7 miles southwest of Crescent Lake Junction on Forest
Road 60. The beaches at Crescent Lake are exceptional for a
high Cascade lake, and despite its size, Crescent Lake's water seems
to warm up more than most of the other large high lakes in our area.
Waterskiing, sailing, windsurfing, sunning, hiking, mountain biking,
and fishing are attractions offered by this lake. |

Trapper Creek Campground

A 32-site campground on Odell Lake, near the end of Forest Road 5810
which is off of State Highway 58. The huckleberry bushes,
heavily forested character, and great fishing make this the most
popular campground on the Crescent Ranger District. Shelter Cove
Resort is only a short distance from Trapper Creek and provides a
number of conveniences such as snack bar, boat rental, camping, and
fishing supplies. Vegetation at Odell Lake is dominated by large
Douglas fir, white fir, spruce, and hemlock typical of vegetation on
the west side of the Cascades. |
