Interpreter position.
Interpreters
Interpreters
are needed in certain locations for providing interpretive programs, talks, and slide
shows, trail walks, etc. Some of the skills
required would include; public speaking, oral and written communications skills, become
knowledgeable of local area, preferably a background in natural science or related area. The Interpreter must be professional and courteous
to the public. They must exercise the ability
to do research and prepare programs. Interpreters
will need to have the knowledge and ability to present programs and topics that include:
wildlife, ecosystems, history, recreation, fire ecology and other standard programs that
may be part of USFS strategy.
In
exchange for their services and duties, RRM will offer a campsite, utility
hook-ups where available; provide compensation and worker's compensation
insurance. Compensation varies depending on levels of responsibility. Uniform
apparel will be provided by RRM.
